Marble Beach & Porto Vathy

 

This beach is not easily inaccessible, a wide dirt road leads to it, which transports marble, but what you see is all the more beautiful.

To get to the beach, it is best to follow the signs to Makryammos Beach and walk along the dirt road before reaching the gate to Makryammos. From this place the beach is about 4 km. The road is very dirty and dusty. The path is wide enough so you can avoid the holes. Still, you have to drive slowly.

 

The best thing about this beach is actually the color of the water. Because the bottom is white, the water is soft blue so you feel like you are on an exotic tropical beach. The color of the water is truly breathtaking. You can rent sun loungers and parasols on the beach - just buy a drink. There is a bar with music on the beach.

 

One more thing, leave a visit to the marble beach until the end of the holiday, because it may happen that there will be no other good enough after this beach. :)
