Limenaria

Limenaria is located in the southern part of the island, is the second largest city on the island and is also one of the most popular resorts.

The history of the town is connected mainly with ore mining and the Palataki chateau, which dominates the town on a rock right next to the port and thus creates a beautiful backdrop. In the center you will find shops, night bars, banks, car and motorcycle rental, health center, post office, pharmacy. A pleasant walk along the coastal promenade leading to the port, offers a lot of typical Greek taverns, which invite the smell of tempting dishes to a pleasant sitting.

About 1.5 km from Limenaria towards Potos is the largest dance club on the island "Bolero Club". For swimming you can use the sandy beach with a gradual entry into the sea right in the center of town.

For those looking for quieter places, just walk a few minutes along the beach around Limenaria, where on the surrounding beaches (among the most beautiful is Metalia Beach and Trypiti Beach), everyone will find their place just for themselves.
